LexisNexis

New Feature: LexisNexis - Enhanced Data Search for Comprehensive Risk Management.

Updated over a month ago

We’re excited to introduce LexisNexis, one of our newest features. This tool offers a more advanced version of Peppamil, designed to make background searches more efficient. LexisNexis only requires basic information to provide detailed results, including PEP (Politically Exposed Persons) matches and other critical information.

What’s New?

  • Streamlined Search: LexisNexis requires only a few key inputs, making it simple to gather in-depth data from multiple sources.

  • Comprehensive Results: Get detailed insights, including PIP (Person of Interest) matches, sanctions, and more—all from a single search.

  • Automated Background Checks: The module runs quietly in the background, integrating with your workflows without disrupting the user experience.

Global Reach

LexisNexis is available to all clients globally, making it a powerful tool for businesses needing comprehensive risk mitigation and compliance support across various regions.

How It Works

LexisNexis is a background module, meaning it operates invisibly within a workflow. It takes the following inputs:

  • First Name

  • Middle Name

  • Last Name

  • Date of Birth

  • Gender

These inputs enable LexisNexis to retrieve a wide range of data, helping your organisation remain compliant and mitigate both financial and reputational risks.

What Kind of Data Does LexisNexis Provide?

  • PEP Information: Identifies individuals in prominent public positions, along with their associates, and provides insights into their roles and associated risk levels.

  • Sanction Data: Checks global sanction lists to flag individuals or entities under sanctions, including details such as reasons and associated identifiers.

  • AML Risk Indicators: Highlights potential money laundering risks by analyzing suspicious activity patterns and adverse media reports.

  • Adverse Media: Detects negative media coverage related to criminal or financial misconduct, helping you protect your organisation from potential reputational harm.

  • Beneficial Ownership: Reveals the true owners behind corporate entities, providing transparency and helping mitigate risks.

  • Jurisdictional Risk: Assesses the risk level associated with the regions in which individuals or entities operate, ensuring you stay informed of potential geopolitical concerns.

Why LexisNexis?

LexisNexis helps organisations meet compliance requirements and proactively address financial and reputational risks. It automates comprehensive searches, delivering accurate, up-to-date information to protect your business against potential threats.
